I'm always scared food is going to turn out runny or undercooked. I hadn't tried out any recipes until I got this book and I was very impressed. I made the French Onion Linguine and Beer Cheese Penne with Tomatoes and both turned out freaking amazing. I couldn't believe it. There are six sections (meat, veggie, cheese, seafood, etc.) and even though I won't use the meat ones I thought this book was super worth getting. I can't wait to try out more. My only "beef" with this book (see what I did there) was that there were hardly any pictures. I LOVE pictures and always have to compare my attempts with the books. The recipes are great, there's lots of variety, and they are easy to follow. This is perfect for lazy cooks or those with small kitchens.
