She has a terrific talent for cutting to the essence of an issue. Her new book RESISTANCE AT ALL COSTS i read in one sitting. It's fast paced language and the section on Judge Kavanaugh is worth its weight in gold. Ms Strassel illustrates in dramatic fashion how low-life these so called resistance fighters have become. Read this book so you're armed with facts to fight the dishonest liberals like Diane Feinstein and Booker.~~Thought-provoking~~ The manner in which this book is organized is 'user-friendly'. Beginning with the Clinton/Trump election evening, when the author was hosting a party....and in attendance were supporters of both parties. Perfect start to the denial and anger that would commence shortly. This was a memory jog for me as the anger in our society was covered in detail.The chapters I found most interesting:are: Resistance at all costs, About the Autocrat, J. Edgar Comey, Setting up the President, Judicial Unrestraint and Press Gang. Ones concerning Mueller, .Obstruction, and the Deep State, are also thought-provoking.One thing I did not expect to read was about President Obama and the 'major' rules he passed. He had a total of 490 major rules...including the IRS and the Tea Party. I also learned that a major rule means that each one cost $100 million or more. Always like to learn while reading a book...For me, the chapter on J. Edgar Comey was the most difficult to read. Comey and the fact that he didn't charge Hillary Clinton for the emails still bothers me. As a United States Navy Chief Petty Officer, Retired, who held a Top Secret Clearance, it is unfathomable that those classified emails were not handled securely. (From receipt of a message to destruction, a log was maintained. It also listed the personnel that had access to it and the dates).. So, being more than sloppy with our Nation's top secret messages just doesn't fly well with me...This chapter is packed with information including Clapper and Brennan, as well. Oh my...what happened to the FBI?The other chapter that was captivating to me was the Press Gang. The author states that the press has a willingness to act on its bias. Misinformation is meted out more frequently. And, a Gallup poll conducted in 2018 was cited which provided percentages about the trust of the media... And, it was not surprising to read that in this poll, 21 % of Republicans and 76% of Democrats trust the press...Become involved in local events including politics is the author's advice. She also says that the election is not about the person....it is about the policies.Highly recommended.
